//I was trying to understand Marshall McLuhans Media Theories, when I realized that it was not possible to draw a schema about what he wants to tell us. Every thesis is related to an other idea and that idea belongs to an other thesis, and so on ... But I was still hoping to find a system behind his construct, so I wrote down every quote, thesis, anecdote and background story I could find and collected them on index cards and tagged every card with a headline.//
//This Poster shows the tags of my index cards. Every time my card related to an other card I drew a line between the tags on my poster. So I got a poster which I call the MCLUHAN UNIVERSE with every single link he had in his brain 🧠. However, I couldn’t elaborate the system behind his theories, but at least show the complexity of his work.//
